Arena Centar, the most modern shopping-entertainment center designed by UPI-2M and DI was opened to the public in November 2010. It is located at the south-western entrance to the Croatian metropolis, beside the multifunctional Arena Zagreb venue and has created a new city centre, offering the public a unique shopping, entertainment and sports destination. A modern architecture, ambience and the synergy with the Arena Zagreb sports venue, this centre became the new regional meeting place.

Especially worth mentioning as innovation is a unique outdoor landscaping around the centre enriched with green areas and flower gardens. The shopping centre and multifunctional hall – Arena Zagreb are connected with a new city square, alongside the children’s playground and outdoor cafes provide a pleasant for visitors to socialise. The landscape is specially designed in order to be user friendly: creative illumination, little amphitheatre which comes as children’s playground, funny mirrors, art metal sculptures, and extremely polyvalent landscape with green hills, trees, lavender, rose and pampas lanes, concrete flowers and modern urban equipment is making this complex one of a kind in Croatia.
