The libraries of the city of Zagreb have expressed interest in accommodating a library of multimedia content and programs after the adaptation of the plant building of the “ISKRA” factory. The plant building of the former factory “Iskra”, in Hermana Bu\u017eana Street in Zagreb is individually protected immovable cultural property registered in the Register of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Croatia.<\/p>\n

The planned contents of the building are organized into 2 underground and one above-ground floors. The above-ground floor and part of the underground floor are parts of the existing building, while the rest of the underground floors are planned as a new part of the building.<\/p>\n

The building in question consists of 3 main units: public spaces (collection and reading rooms), office space for employees and service spaces.
