Music shop Crotia Records & Caffe bar “Nova ploča”

Projekt rekonstrukcije lokala vodeće diskografske kuće ”Croatia Records” u strogom centru Zagreba u Bogovićevoj ulici, suočio se sa željom investitora da proširi djelatnost sa isključivo trgovačke na trgovačko-ugostiteljsku. Preuređeni prostor projektiran je na način da obje djelatnosti mogu funkcionirati neovisno jedna o drugoj  tj. da caffe bar može nastaviti s radom po završetku radnog vremena trgovine.  U tom se trenutku prostor sa CD policama fizički zatvara i odjeljuje rolo pregradama. Novim se projektom zahtjevala iznimna funkcionalna i optimalna dispozicija prostora. Kao dodanu vrijednost prostora izvedena je dogradnja galerije u vidu ”mosta” uz staklenu fasadu kojom je omogućena kružna veza zbog preglednosti izloženog glazbenog asortimana, te koji ujedno služi i za postavu sjedećih mjesta ugostiteljskog dijela lokala. Želja investitora bila je uklopiti postojeći granitni pod i veliki dio postojećih polica u novi projekt i suvremeni dizajn. Boje u interijeru su zagasite te prevladavaju nijanse sive, od beton  do antracit sive. Od materijala korišteni su drvo, metal i opeka koji interijeru daju industrijski izgled. Interijerom dominira glavno stubište koje je zbog potrebe za odjeljivanjem namjena prostora dobilo metalnu, ali prozračnu ogradu visine dvije etaže.

Music shop Croatia Records & Caffe bar “Nova ploča”

The project of “Croatia Records” premises reconstruction, the leading Croatian discography house, in the center of Zagreb in Bogovićeva street, has faced with investor’s desire to expand the business from music shop only to music shop and café bar. Renovated space is designed in a way that both activities can run independently of each other that is, the café bar can continue to operate after shop’s closing hours. At that point, an area with a CD rack is physically closed and divided with roller screens. The new project has demanded extraordinary functional and optimal disposition of space. As a space added value an gallery extension is derived performing a “bridge” with the glass facade which enables circular connection due to exposition of musical range, and which is also used for setting seats of premises’ café bar part. The investor’s desire was to fit existing granite floor and a large part of the existing shelves into a new project and a contemporary design. The interior colors are more subtle and shades of gray, from concrete to anthracite gray prevail. Interior industrial look is achieved by using woods, brick and metal for the materials. The main staircase dominates the interior by receiving a metal but sheer fence, two floor high, considering the need for area separation.
